I’m Gretchen, the friend who takes photos.

I’ve been photographing humans for 13 years. It was love at first shutter.

I believe you deserve a photographer who is not only a professional, but who also feels like a trusted friend to support, celebrate and create a comfortable and fun space for you, whether it’s your wedding day or any other special life event worth documenting.

I love Chicago, long walks on the lake, Beyoncé, Bravo (really any type of television that my dad would shake his head at), stand-up comedy, Skyline Chili, anything on a rooftop or patio in the summer, a good glass (or two) of cabernet & yap, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and dogs. And surprise! I do, in fact, love love.
